Seabrook Island became a town in 1987 and has a population under 2000 people. Seabrook is a private community a few miles from downtown Charleston known for amazing beaches and gorgeous water views framed by live oaks and Spanish moss. 

Seabrook Island Club has two golf courses, an equestrian center offering trail and beach rides, ocean-front dining venues, swimming pools, and a fitness center.  

Seabrook Island Real Estate – With its well planned development, host of amenities and gorgeous views Seabrook has some of the most expensive real estate in Charleston. In 2005 membership to the Seabrook Island Club became mandatory for all new home buyers and a number of the homes are second homes and vacation homes on Seabrook Island.
