Hanahan is a town in Berkeley County with a population of around 20,000. Incorporated in 1973 Hanahan sits between North Charleston and Goose Creek.

Hanahan has direct access to the Cooper River and the Charleston Harbor making fishing and water sports very popular here. The Goose Creek Reservoir contains a wide range of fish species and hosts several tournaments per year. Yeamans Hall Club is a country club in Hanahan built in 1925 and ranked the number two private course in the State of South Carolina. The Hanahan Amphitheater is a gorgeous venue that hosts city run events, movies in the park, concerts as well as weddings and private events.
